The Academy promotes forums which have proven to be very valuable opportunities for sharing – the speakers of the local languages bring their own linguistic and cultural expertise, and the research consultants can help them express the distinctives of their languages in ways that will be acceptable to interested persons worldwide.

Korpu Academy also promotes opportunities for speakers of minority languages to be exposed to material from outside their community experience, usually by translation of selected material into these languages.  In this way Korpu Academy promotes the uplift of minority communities, which would otherwise become marginalized and degraded.  This process clearly benefits all citizens of this area, as a more highly educated and involved citizenry cannot help but benefit entire nations.
